They are reboxing the lifters from the main manufacturers. As far as cost difference there are many grades of lifter depending on application. You can get ones with the shielded small wheel for low lift or the larger exposed wheel for higher lift and rpm.

If i just let it sit there and idle it will continue to make noise even after it has warmed up. Yes, as long as they roll smooth you can re-use them on a different roller cam, many times over in fact. Totally different than flat tappet guidelines.

Which is a daily driver/mild street performance car. From the day I first fired the engine up, it seemed to make more valve train noise then I think it should.
