WebFeb 11, 2024 · My FiTech "white" wire for +12vdc goes to the "I" terminal of the starter relay. If you have a multi-meter hook the black (gnd) cable to the battery ground, and the meter Red wire to the "I" terminal. You have to have +12vdc when the ignition key is turned to ON, and still have it when it is cranking, and once started it still have to be +12vdc ... WebFeb 11, 2016 · Thanks pipermike, I read through the thread and yes alot of similar issues. One thing I did read was some of the guys are grounding the TB with a seperate ground wire. I dont believe this is my issue, but its an interesting thought. I just got an email back from FiTech and Kirk gave the go ahead to send the TBI and handheld back.

WebFeb 27, 2024 · For the rest of the wiring I cut the 3 wire harness off where it used to go into the distributor base. The 3 wires are Batt, Gnd, and Tach. Batt is still the same, your key switched source. Ground used to go to the base of the distributor and then ground to the engine.
