WebIt'll be -0.something. Maybe a bit more, but shouldn't be more than -2.5ish. Take that number and add 0.1 to it. So if you saw -0.9 on the screen, then your target is -0.8. Go into your menu. select control -> motion -> z-offset and turn the dial till you get to that target number. (Example here is -0.8). WebNov 15, 2024 · I have a duet 2 wifi with a BL touch sensor. I've set the Z offset following betrue3d's guide. When I home the Z axis then go to Z0, the nozzle is at the right height, but when I run the mesh grid compensation and then try to print something, the nozzle is always around 0.5mm too high off the bed.

Remove the mesh and the BLtouch config , remove Gcode where I call the mesh. So it should not use any mesh (the printer has been restarted too). Manual bed Level, and now it way to close but it still printing far.

I plugged back in the z-stop, unplugged the cr touch, reformatted the sd card I was using to ferry the firmware, reinstalled the firmware, turned off the machine, unplugged the sd card, unplugged the z-stop and plugged in the cr touch, and turned the machine back on.

I haven't checked to see if the endstops (either M211 software endstops that prevent motion below Z=0, or the M120/M121 hardware endstops that prevent motion beyond the limit switch) actually prevent motion if the machine thinks z=0 is below the limit switch.

I did flip the bolts, but when I run the bed level mesh program, the BL Touch Probe is still starting too far to the right - the first probe point is like 1.5" in from the left side of the print bed, whereas the right-most probe point is almost at the very right edge, which I'm attributing to the extruder carriage having that little arm sticking off the side …
